Who is Edu Cafe? Edu Cafe is a coffee collective with the goal to raise the standard of educational und medical services to the children in our communities. The collective and heart of the business consists of a tight knit community of family and friends who are connected to coffee Communities organically. The idea for EduCafe was born out of the desire to sell specialty coffee direct to roasters with the purpose to allocate funds to assist the children of coffee laborers. The collective compromises of 40+ farmers/producers from La Paz, Santa Rosa de Copan and Santa Barbara , Honduras. The producers range from agricultural graduates to people who have tended their fields throughout generations. There are also members across America and Europe for distribution. They offer coffee in origin FOB, containers in destinations and also distribute their own container exports in EU / USA.
Edu Cafe did a Christmas event where they gave out clothing, shoes and school supplies to the children of the coffee workers who work on Mario's farms. (see the last picture)
